Well, for a start, "Consor (Kon-Sore)" is Latin for "Companion".
About them:
Consors are companions assigned to wolves on their first birthday. A birthday present, if you will. They could be small mammals or birds; the largest they could be is about the size of your wolf- but of course, that has to be the natural size. You wouldn't want to see a mouse the size of a wolf, would you? The smallest they could be is the size of a mouse; but it still has to be its natural size. Ravens? Fully grown? The size of a mouse?!
They could have one of three elements; air, lightning, or earth. They do not have to correspond with the animal (birds don't have to have air as their element, rodents don't have to have earth, etc.).
Wolves and their Consors stay friends forever- they feel eachother's pain, they live eachother's lives. There's no possible way to pry them apart- except death. However, if the wolf dies, their companions die not too long after, and visa versa. Only one wolf has survived his companion's death- Elemental Hazard (See Hazard: How it All Came to Be for more details). He still lives to this day, but has mysteriously disappeared.
